Acid Staining
With acid staining, color on the floor may not be the exact same color shown in brochures and pictures.
Unlike paint, Acid Staining is a chemical reaction with the minerals in the concrete.
You will get alot of different hues of the same color and a natural mottling effect from the reaction.
We basicly get the colors we get because every concrete slab is different and the chemical reaction is different.
I like to refer to acid staining color charts as base colors. I have used these products long enough to give you an idea of what to expect with each color.
Different chemical reactions is what makes every floor unique. There are 8 different colors to choose from.
Because of the extra cleaning, and extra dry time required from using water to clean, there is a $.50 cents a sq ft extra charge to use acid stains. See prices.

I DO NOT AND CAN NOT GUARANTEE AN EXACT COLOR WITH ACID STAINS !

Water and Acetone Based Stains:
Water based stains are more of an exact color. They are a consistant color across the floor.
You will still get a mottling effect from the color being lighter and darker on the floor.
They are not a solid color, they are transparent, so you still see the natural character in the concrete slab.
Their are 26 colors to choose from. Putting more color charts on website soon.
